The first exciting venue you will be going to is the unforgettable Christ the Redeemer Statue. This popular landmark is located at the top of a mountain. Overlooking the enormous city of Rio de Janeiro. It is approximately 20 minutes away from the luxurious apartment I stayed in called Vina Del Mar in Sao Conrado. There is a tour to see the captivating statue every day except Sunday.

I was overwhelmed how tall the towering structure was. I got a half day tour to see the famous statue and it was magnificent because you could see an awe inspiring view of the whole city of Rio de Janeiro and its eye catching beaches. One of my favourite things about the statue was that there was the great views and I could see tiny cars and people below. You will be going on a tour so you can see the statue up close, learn about the history of it and why the Brazilians made it.

Every ticket per person is NZD $24 and the total cost for a family four is an appealing price of only NZD $96. I did not just go to one venue I traveled to many others like the Sao Paulo Cathedral and the Panteao Da Patira. Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have enjoyed it.
